Frist Chapter Bluefield


1.Bluefield
Nash was born in Bluefield, West Virginia. They have been there since they parents married. They church minsters hosted the marriage, and not lots of people came to this marriage. They planed to travel to North as a marriage tour.
            The old Nash was a well-educated, incisive, diligent and traditional man. He was from New England. They had three children. Nash’s mother was a teacher, and she founded a school called Mary Nash School. Old Nash’s childhood was all about Church. Old Nash’s mother was a very intelligent person that raises three children by her own after their drunk father left. That’s also why Old Nash could not expose himself to his children.
            After getting into Texas Agricultural&Mechanical, Old Nash devoted himself to the technology. Then he joined the army after graduation during the WWI. Instead of being a teacher in university, he had been worked at Appalachian Power Company (American Electric Power) for thirty-eight years.
            Margaret Virginia Martin, who is Nash’s mother and has the opposite personality to Old Nash, was a beautiful and cultured young woman, and played important role in Nash’s life. She learned four languages in school, and worked as a teacher before her married to Old Nash.
            It was embarrassing for Old Nash that his wife worked outside, so he did not allow Virginia to work and believe he could make living for the family.
During 1920s, Bluefield was connected to the big city and developed a lot. At first, there were lots of merchants. Later, more and more scholars who appealed by those big companies appeared at this town.
Because of the hardworking, Nash family had a middle class life even during the economy depression, the family still had a good life.
Four years after the marriage, Nash came to this world, people liked to called Johnny. He was an odd boy ,who is introversive and isolated. His relatives all thought he was a nerd that he always read when other kids were playing the toys and had fun. He was not a prodigy, but very smart and acute. His mother was his best teacher and friend. He liked books and loved to do some experiments. Once, he answer then question when other kids did not understand how the person complete this amazing performance.  His parents wanted him to make friends with other so that they asked him to attend some group activities, he did go for pleasing his mom, but he did not achieve what his parents expected. Nash was good at math since he was young. He went Carnegie University for studying math.
Nash was too different from other people so people around him did not understand what he was doing sometimes. Later, he started to use electricity to make some pranks. Sometimes some pranks caused explosions. He was so greedy about books that he teacher admired him. Then, he won a prize that only 10 students could win it, so he was sent to Carnegie University .
